The goal of the project was to see the function/effects of various genes in the tweety gene family and utilize CRISPR knockout to see what mutations it causes and the phenotypic effects as well as effects on mortality. Through this lab I have become proficient in instrumental analysis, centrifuge, distillation, titration, chromatography, and crystallization.
