I have 22 years of caregiver experience. I began my career working in a daycare as a toddler caretaker for 2-3-year-olds while still in high school, and over time, l expanded my role to work with children of all ages. The age range 6 months to 12 years old. l also contributed to the early education program, Scholastic; helping pre-k children prepare for kindergarten. I eventually advanced to the role of Director of Operations, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the daycare. I moved to Dallas to pursue a marketing opportunity with Chick-fil-A, which eventually led me to work for Sitter Central (http://app.sittercentral.us).
Through them, I connected with my current employers, The Olivers. I've been working with their family since November 2015, and it's been an incredible 10 years. My bosses have demanding corporate careers, and when I started, their kids were 8 and 9 years old. Now, the son is in college at SMU, and the daughter is graduating high school and heading to UT Austin this fall. I'm so proud to have been part of their journey and development.
