ABOUT ME:
I am a rising high school junior who grew up in Brooklyn, and moved to Rye, NY in 6th grade.
I spent the Fall 2024 semester studying abroad in Zermatt, Switzerland. During this time, I studied art history and hiked for 4-8 hours a day, spending more time in nature than I ever had, and spending my weekends traveling and exploring the art realm that exists within Europe. I developed a love for hiking, leading me to travel to Iceland this summer, and I developed an interest in Renaissance and Baroque art which I was fortunate enough to get to see in real life in Venice. Upon my return, I decided to self-study for the AP Art History exam, as it interested me and I wanted to continue to learn. This summer, I will be attending a pre-college course at Sotheby's, studying art business.
I am an assistant teacher at my community synagogue's Hebrew school while also fundraising for a Pad Project initiative that donates feminine hygiene products to young women in Kenya. I continue to work at the synagogue weekly, trying to be a role model to the next generation of kids. I also play Varsity Softball for Rye High School.
I am a hard-working, detail oriented person who is known to be kind, fun and responsible. I am committed to making meaningful contributions to the world and am seeking opportunities to learn and grow.
