• Diagnose & repair various types of heavy equipment, vehicles, tractor trailers, cranes, boom lifts, scissor lifts, electrical motors, electrical circuits & wiring, hydraulic pumps & hoses, pneumatic equipment & hoses, and much more.
• Extensively trained in the inventory department & assist in completing the various tasks required for that department on a daily basis, such as: check in various items to be sold in upcoming auctions into the companies proprietary computer program, take photos & videos of items, provide detailed descriptions of items, export all information/data/photos/videos for items onto the company website so that customers can view and bid on items.
• Highly trained in the "yard" department and assist colleagues in that department on a daily basis as well, such as: operate any/all types of heavy equipment (semi trucks, vehicles excavators, dozers, pavers, cranes, milling machines, etcetera), and move items to the correct position on the yard; which requires of great deal of planning and logistics.
• Expert level operation of telehandlers and forkilifts
• Deliver superior customer service & assist both customers & colleagues promptly and courteously.
• Very high level of proficiency in operating & completing any/all repairs a wide range of equipment/machinery, no matter if the problem is mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc. Quite frankly, it doesn't matter what type of equipment it is or what is wrong with it; if it's broken or not operating like it's supposed to, then I can diagnose and repair it.
• Expert level Cross-training in several different departments of this business.
• Possess the knowledge, skills, and the ability to complete tasks in all 3 departments of this business (mechanic/inventory/yard). In other words, a handful of employees jump back and forth between inventory tasks and yard tasks. But most of them only complete tasks for the department they were hired into. On the other hand, I complete tasks for all three departments on a daily basis. (In one day, I can check in an inoperative piece of equipment, diagnose problem(s) with it, repair it, write up a description for it, take pictures and videos of it, plan out where it needs to be moved to in auction yard, then physically operate that equipment or use various methods of transportation to get it to its proper spot. I am the only employee here that has the knowledge, varied skill set, and ability to do this.

• Supervised construction of all homes sold (Average 50 homes per year)
• Scheduled & managed multiple types of sub-contractors (mobile home haulers, land graders, septic tank installers, plumbers, electricians, etc, to complete construction of homes
• Worked hand in hand with contractors, customers, and various county officials in order to generate timelines of construction for customers in order to make them aware of when they could expect to move into their new homes.
• Maintained close relationships with customers from the time they decided to purchase their home, to giving them keys to their new home once construction was completed.
• Kept in touch with customers after they moved into to their new homes in order to ensure that they were happy, and also to handle any/all questions or concerns.
• Doubled as a service technician for the majority of my time here & completed various repairs for problems on homes including but not limited to: HVAC, electrical, flooring, roofing, sheetrock, plumbing, septic, foundation, etc.
• Sourced, vetted and managed vendors needed to accomplish project goals.
• Reported regularly to managers on project budget, progress, and technical problems.
• Enhanced overall project success by conducting thorough post-project evaluations and incorporating lessons learned into future efforts.
