Roxanna Sinkar

During the summer of 2024, I assisted customers and vendors by answering questions and resolving issues. My responsibilities included ordering, tracking, organizing, cataloging, and ensuring the delivery and appearance of inventory. I handled general retail operations such as security, cash handling, and store maintenance. I also contributed to social media marketing by posting about new furniture and themes to attract the audience's attention. I developed interpersonal, negotiation, sales, and networking skills through interactions with customers, vendors, colleagues, and community engagement. Additionally, I assisted with end-of-month reporting and other financial aspects of running a small business. This role challenged me to multitask and adapt to the fast pace of a small business environment.

At Taco Bell, I oversaw team members while training and coaching them on company policies and standards. I provided excellent customer service and addressed and resolved customer complaints. I managed cash registers and handled cash for deposits and change orders. I prioritized and managed time effectively to prepare for rush times and shift changes. Additionally, I built team morale by giving recognition and positive feedback.

Joined the PAC at SUU in Fall 2024.

Performed in the Marching Band, Winter Guard, and Advanced Chamber Orchestra. Organized and performed quartet events outside of school. Presided over the Orchestra Council as Second Counselor.
