I became a registered nurse at 32 (after my parents died and spent 25+ years in hospice/homecare primarily. I also worked for planned parenthood and a women's reproductive clinic because it is also close to my heart.
I worked for various organizations until 2014 when my aunt was diagnosed with cancer. I came to San Mateo, CA to care for her until her death in 2017. I moved to Sacramento as it is slightly more affordable. (I'm midwest).
Since I've freelanced with various families as they worked through the heartbreak of terminal illness. I find retirement (2 years) lacking flavor for me. I want to go back to work but I don't want to provide hands on care.
My strength is in helping families and individuals working through life's trials and tragedies.
Cared for a cancer patient (paternal aunt) until her death.
