  • As a field analyst, I view properties on TDOT and Vexel Arial Imagery to see if there are structures that aren’t being taxed and make sure what structures we do have are measured correctly
  • I also go out in the field with our field guys occasionally to check properties
  • I go over the tax cards for every parcel of land in the county to prepare for the next reappraisal to make sure all structures, measurements, assessments, etc
  • Are accurate
  • I also write up deeds that come from the Register of Deeds Office that are added because of new purchases or because of property transfers
  • I also field calls as needed to the proper person
  • We work very closely with the Register of Deeds office, the Trustee’s office, attorney offices and Title companies
  • I’m also a Certified Public Administrator obtained through CTAS and the University of Tennessee.

  • I served as the assistant to three County Mayors for five administrations
  • Responsibilities included all administrative duties associated with the highest office of government in Coffee County, TN, including answering the telephone, greeting visitors to the mayor’s office, scheduling meeting, making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports and maintaining public records
  • I was also responsible for taking and transcribing minutes of various county committee, boards and commissions, sending our meeting notices, preparing newspaper notifications/ads, assisting with research and composition of county resolution for presentation to the County Commission and acting as a liaison to 21 County Commissioners, county department heads, elected officials and local, state and federal agencies
  • When necessary, I attended public events with or in the absence of the Mayor.

  • I was first elected to the position of Alderman for the City of Manchester in 2008 and was re-elected in 2012
  • Then I was nominated to fill a term after the passing of the City Mayor in 2020 and that term expired in 2022
  • The Board of Alderman consists of the City Mayor and six Aldermen who are responsible for overseeing the operation and budget of all the departments within the City of Manchester government.
