Heavy equipment is the only think I know well enough to make a living off of and I am grateful for the training I recieved as an apprentice at Irvin Tractor so many years ago. Our entire rental fleet was nothing but Caterpillar and that is what I learned how to work on. I have always favored caterpillar equipment because of this and take great pride in what I do.

  • Other machines at that quarry were a fleet of 980G/H loaders, four D400D haul trucks, a D10, a D9N, two D8Rs and two 345B excavators.

  • Machines worked on were all brands and types. We had a fleet of five 950M loaders, a 972G, a 320D, a 322B, a 315C, a 314C, two D6s, two D3s and a 963B.
