  • Work involves:

Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; washing windows; cleaning blinds; dusting; cleaning walls and furniture; washing basins; cleaning and disinfecting lavatories; scrubbing tile floors and showers; and replenishing supplies of soap, toilet tissues, hand towels, and polishing brass and other metalwork.

  • Replacing burned-out light bulbs, cleaning reflectors, and performing other simple maintenance work. Moving desks, furniture, and equipment as required. Gathering and disposing of rubbish, sweeping outside steps, and sidewalks of buildings. Maintains and clears trails along pipelines, tunnels, springs, and reservoirs.

    Propagates and cultivates plants. Operates a vehicle on an incidental basis to and from job sites and other related work sites.

    Performs general building maintenance work, including painting over graffiti.
