• Translated the autobiography of the king of Batoufam (Récit d'une vie by NAYANG Roi Bantu) from French to English.
• Applied cultural understanding to discern specific meanings beyond literal written words.
• Reviewed final works to spot and correct errors in punctuation, grammar, and translation.
• Worked with cultural organizations in Cameroon in order to publicize and publish translated book.

• Closely evaluated artifacts, documenting characteristics, measurements, and cultural importance of each piece.
• Used preservation and conservation techniques to protect artifacts and collections.
• Classified and assigned registration numbers to artifacts and supervised inventory control.
• Created content on Instagram for the museum, including information on the Batoufam kingdom.
• Translated content from French to English, and provided both translations in posting.

• Guided productive conversations on identity and intersectionality by providing space to grow.

With the LSAC, I participated in the PLUS Program, hosted remotely by the University of Oregon, which allows those who are interested in legal fields to explore the field. The PLUS Program offers lectures and a window to what to expect in law school through classes, like "Race & the Law," or "Writing for Law," that are actually taught by law school professors.
