Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support Bechtel and subcontractor teams in implementing Bechtel's safety programs, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Conduct daily safety walks, inspections, and audits to identify hazards, unsafe behaviors, and compliance gaps across all train operations.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and on-the-spot corrections to ensure employees and contractors follow OSHA, company, and LNG industry-specific safety standards.
• Lead and participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action development to prevent reoccurrence.
• Attend pre-job safety meetings, toolbox talks, and craft base leadership (CBL) sessions to promote a strong safety culture.
• Review and verify Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and work permits to ensure risk controls are in place before work begins.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as working at heights, confined space entry, hot work, heavy lifts, and scaffold erection for safe execution.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and contractors to plan safe work practices during construction, maintenance, and new construction activities.
• Prepare detailed safety observation reports, trending data daily.

My duties and responsibilities included, helping reduced injuries among personnel with implementation of robust safety programs and policies with the Kiewit safety team. Also, inspected job sites and shops to detect potential health hazards and put corrective measures immediately into effect. I Conducted daily morning safety meetings, audits and inspections to identify workplace hazards and deficiencies. Attended weekly client occupational safety meetings and handled inquiries, questions and concerns in terms of all critical work. Facilitated weekly meetings with upper management to discuss ways that safety could be improved.

Duties included but not limited to : Assisted in creating and managing all new hire orientation. Took lead in AFE Mass safety meetings for Citgo. Attended daily walkthrough with Client and safety PJSR for all critical work. Conducted daily safety audits and helped mitigate safety infractions in the work area. Assisted in accident investigation and root cause analysis for incidents.

Inspected work practices and procedures for compliance with company and federal regulations. Analyzed onsite incidents and instituted precautionary measures to reduce risk and severity of workplace injuries.

Served as a third-party safety, overseeing Kiewit and subcontractors working on the Big foot TLP. Attended client safety walks and prepared Safety walk presentation for review and discussion for client. Conducted daily safety audits and assisted Chevron safety with Pre-work air monitoring and LOTO while minimizing incidents, accidents and keeping a safe work place.

Conducted Mass safety meetings. Attended daily walkthrough with Client and 3rd party safety personnel. Conducted daily safety audits and helped mitigate safety infractions in the work area. Assisted in accident investigation and root cause analysis for incidents, submitted contractor indecent reports to Client.

Worked closely and diligently with military safety and Project Managers. Performed health and safety site inspections and audits at project sites. identified site specific hazards and developed proper controls. Also, prepared site health safety plans, safe work practices, and other related project health and safety documents. Assisted in incident investigations, reports and corrective actions. Assisted in some QC work.

Conducted random on-site safety inspections and reported any violations. Responded to emergency safety issues. Coordinated with Project Managers to identify and resolve various issues. Assisted in filling out required documentation following any on site safety incident or accidents.

Awarded Gold in 2014 for Brand site safety audit at the Invista plant in Victoria TX. Responsible for compliance in all aspects of environmental, health and safety. Implemented procedures for identifying and controlling work place hazards. Developed and communicated safety plans rules and work procedures. Conducted daily safety mass meetings and lead a safety committee audit team through different sites throughout the plant.

Created and maintained computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems for records, reports and documents. Supplied, ordered, and maintained personal protective equipment; Prepared and reviewed specifications for orders for the purchase of safety equipment, ensuring that proper features are present and that items comply to health & safety standards; Examined credentials, licenses, and permits to make sure compliance with licensing requirements; Maintained logbooks of daily activities, including areas visited or activities performed; Train workers in safety procedures related to special jobs, Verified availability and monitored use of safety equipment, like hearing protection and respirators etc.; Evaluated situations and made decisions whether workers refused to work on the grounds that danger or potential harm exists; Investigated issues and problems. Inspected stainless steel tubes for conformance to customer specifications, using eddy current testing equipment; Read work order to define tube tolerance specifications required by customer type of electric inspection coil to use for tube inspecting; Select sample tube with known defects passes it through coil to test equipment settings; Position tubes to be inspected on rollers, marks locations of detected defects on rejected tubes with marker, and place defective tubes aside.

Identified problem accounts and negotiated payment programs with delinquent customers. Monitored Violations of credit policies and took Appropriate action.

Answered customer inquiries and complaints as well as explained cost of cable service and instillation. Measured signal strength at amplifiers or at customers terminal boxes, using field strength meter. Repaired and replaced worn components to make sure acceptable signal strength. Climbed utility pole for New connect re-connect and disconnection services. Repaired and troubleshooted defective cable systems.
