Working at the children's museum of southern oregon, my duties were to check families into the museum, create memberships for families as well as familes that may apply for OHP discounts. Answer phone call's at the front desk and answering any questions or concerns guests may have. Upstairs in the museum as well as outside in the outdoor space, our role was to make interactions or connections with families, mainly children helping them expand their playing and or imagination, thinking. Maintaining exhibit areas and providing information about each station as well as sanitizing as the day goes on. Ensuring the safety of the children and managing visitor interactions to ensure a positive experience. We were also responsible for organizing fun educational programs and activities for children, as I was in charge of the ballet program.
As a hostess at Honeysuckle brunch my job was to greet and seat costumers, answering phone calls, taking reservation, walk in's and organizing those reservations and times. I would then prepare the dinning area before any service and ensure the front of the house area is maintained and clean. Having great communication with guests and staff, handling any guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints. Coordinating with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth operations or anything I could help with.
