This was a several month project I was hired on to work on, building a new section of the crude oil dock at Chevron refinery in Richmond CA. I was hired per my licenses to run a crane, large hydraulic forklifts, a semi truck and a few other machines. Ran controls such as levers, pedals, throttles, brakes, switches and buttons to control crane movement or functions such as hoisting and lowering booms, slewing and traversing cranes on rails, swinging loads horizontally and vertically, extending outriggers, setting up jibs and activating auxiliary hoists.

  • Loaded and offloaded rocks, debris and other materials from heavy equipment.
  • Kept equipment fueled and ready for immediate use to support scheduling demands.
