Electrical Engineering student with 1.5 years of experience learning and practicing both hardware and software knowledge using MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and java. Excited about engaging in engineering industry workplace. Seeking summer co-op experiences between May and August.
• Developed machine-learning algorithms to play board games against players or computers in C. Additionally, the program kept track of score and victory conditions. When playing against peers' algorithms, achieved top results on the leader board.
• Developed a management program for a grocery store in C++ that allowed user interaction, such as adding/removing registers and adding customers. Created a simulation of customers entering and leaving the store through factors like the number of items, the speed of employees, and the formation of lines (single or multiple).
• Created a data-visualization project using Python that took data from the output Excel file built by the grocery store simulation and created live graphs showing the customer departure speed. The program allowed users to operate on an interface using buttons to choose the form of graphs (line, bar, pie) used to visualize the data or refresh the Excel spreadsheet.
• Managed information of 1000 plus high school students and authorized SIM cards to each student's temporary school phones. In addition, applied Excel to create graphs for the year-end presentation PowerPoint and showed the increase in clients visually.
• Repaired and inspected the landlines' condition in dorm rooms, whether the cords were protected, and gained knowledge of their functions. Improved the method of shielding landlines, decreasing the chance of damaging the devices.
• Inspected and monitored the construction of numerous elementary schools' face ID-based intelligent security control systems. Discussed with the school's authorities to demonstrate the product's benefits and how it stood out against competitors.
• Taught students Java, Python, and C through weekly/monthly projects; mentored requested/essential topics such as memory, class, and recursion. Received numerous positive feedbacks from students after they developed projects at the end of the term.
• Tutored AP courses such as calculus and computer science. Taught students through prepared slide shows covering key topics and feedback/question sections. As a result, most students received awarding AP scores and claimed that the course had been helpful.
• Cooperated with other tutors through sharing insights, teaching methods, and organization. Developed an English learning IELTS support/tutoring program with various tutors to teach English learners to read, write, listen, and speak. As a result, developed a reusable syllabus and course plan for future tutors joining the program.
