Summary

My journey in solution design for scheduling systems within the workforce management field has been extensive, marked by a progression that mirrors a deepening understanding of the industry's intricacies. Starting from a background in retail and point of sale, I transitioned to supporting a workforce product, where I quickly recognized the need for a more proactive approach. Tired of merely cleaning up others' messes, I pivoted towards implementing the same product, seeking a more proactive role in shaping effective solutions. This shift led me from working within a software provider to consulting, driven by a desire for impartiality and the ability to offer tailored, vendor-agnostic advice. Along this path, I honed my skills in task standards, vendor selections, change management, process improvement, and best practices.

In the course of my professional evolution, I seized opportunities to lead, innovate, and nurture talent within a dynamic environment. At a small growing company, I assumed leadership of a division, where I not only sold services but also played a pivotal role in recruiting and training new team members. Despite these advancements, I found myself tethered to a single vendor and product, a constraint that both challenged and motivated me to excel within those parameters.
Throughout my career, I have been deeply immersed in the Blue Yonder WFM product, contributing to over 40 versions and showcasing both proficiency and adaptability in its utilization. My role in upgrade consultations for numerous clients underscores my expertise in facilitating smooth transitions and maximizing the benefits of new versions. Whether as a Solo or Lead Enterprise Architect for clients or as a Subject Matter Expert, I have consistently demonstrated leadership and a profound understanding of the subject matter.

Working with renowned companies like Disney, Walmart, McDonald's, Aldi, Sterling Jewelers, LLBean, Optus Australia, Foot Locker, Starbucks, Publix, and GPM speaks volumes about my ability to handle high-volume operations across diverse industries. This broad experience has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of workforce and labor management, further enriched by my familiarity with various vendors and competing products. It is this depth of expertise that positions me as a valuable asset in the ever-evolving landscape of workforce management.
