Liased with regional HR Department in completing onboarding for new associates, including I-9 requirements, benefits enrollment, etc.
Reviewed and approved bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Coordinated with Warehouse Managers regarding maintenance of delivery fleet vehicles and all PITs, resulting in little-to-no-downtime
Served as head of the South Texas Area Safety Committee, developing Emergency Action Plans for all locations, resulting in smooth operations in the wake of Hurricane Harvey in 2017
Conducted semi-annual safety audits of all facilities and ensured our locations met or exceeded corporate expectations as well as OSHA requirements
Prepared and conducted monthly open-book, branch-wide meetings for all associates, giving visibility to our profitability goals and progress
Monitored all south Texas branches for for efficient and effective Customer Service, ensuring daily adherence to performance goals as set for 53 corporately determined parameters, and corrected any deficiencies
Led the main Corpus Christi location to win Branch of the Year honors for eight years (2002, 2003, 2007, 2008, 20120, 2011, 2012 an 2013)
Led the Corpus Christi location to regional recognition for Counter Sales profitability, winning Counter of the Year every year from 2004-2014, before the award was discontinued in 2015
For the final five months, teleworked as Operations Coordinator, reviewing and streamlining SOPs for multiple Ferguson branches in areas including invoicing and customer pricing, vendor selection and material ordering, and customer return processes to improve process outcomes
