Fabricated nanowire targets for experiments involving CSU ALEPH Ti:sapphire Petawatt-class laser. Creation of such targets was a multi-task process involving ultraviolet lithography and critical point drying.
Gained experience in using scanning electron microscopes, optical microscopes, critical point dryers, drill presses, MATLAB programs, and standard laboratory equipment.
Assisted in the preparation of the target chamber between experiments.
Imaged and processed experimental data using microscopes and Python programs.
