My current job entails - overseeing all repairs in the shop and performing diagnostics and repairs in the field. I assign jobs to the mechanics that fit their skills best to ensure efficient repairs and minimal come-backs. My field repair position includes traveling between Tok, Delta and Fairbanks. I am tasked with repairing everything between automotive, on-highway trucks and heavy equipment (including tractors). Welding and fabrication is performed on a weekly and sometimes daily basis.

Started in the equipment rental department as sole technician then quickly advanced to main shop tech. Performed timely, accurate and in-depth diagnostics and repairs on equipment in the shop and in the field. The equipment I oversaw ranged from Caterpillar skid steers and attachments, excavators, dozers, telehandlers, loaders, roller-compactors, pioneer trash pumps, Terex boom lifts, MQ generators, forklifts and more. I've performed many field diagnostics and repairs in the northern Alaskan area, including but not limited to; Fort Knox, Pogo Mine, Manh Choh Mine, and Usibelli Coal Mine. I have received thorough training from Caterpillar instructors in person and online, as well as MSHA courses.

Operated seine skiff for two fishing seasons. Good experience working as a team during high stress/dangerous situations. Conducted maintenance and repairs on seine boat and seine skiff - Yanmar diesel engine, John Deere diesels, and hydraulic pumps and implements. Deckhand position also enhanced skills in lifting and rigging.

Spent multiple fishing seasons away from home. Harvested salmon on the Copper River Delta and Prince William Sound. Experienced in operating vessel and deck equipment. Conducted repairs on diesel engines and hydraulics.

Family owned repair business. Started with small tasks (cleaning up shop) and moved on to basic repairs on customer vehicles as I grew older and gained experience.
