Previously, Ms. Mufute provided overall leadership and management of the FHI 360 $93 million Umbrella Grants Management Program with a staff of 18 people. Before this position, Ms. Mufute was employed as Africare's Regional Director for Anglophone East and West Africa, based in Washington, DC. Through her 18 years of experience working for Africare as a Country Representative in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Namibia and as Regional Director providing oversight to Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, Uganda, and Kenya, Ms. Mufute cultivated an ability to get results while refining her skills in partnership/alliance creation, strategic planning, personnel management, donor outreach, marketing, leadership, and financial management.
