I am a multi-tasker, I have many skills in the production field. For the past five years I had worked at Abbott Laboratory in Scarborough ME and in Westbrook ME. I started out as a production worker on the packing line, from there I went on to become a machine operator, And in the past five years had learn to operate 13 different machines for the company and had become one of their best operators with lots of knowledge of the machines I ran, setting and breaking many records for OEE and Production output with the highest quality work along the way. My training has also includes Team Leader position as a back-up when needed, In that position I cleared the lines for operational expectance before the line where able to run insuring all raw materials had been issued to the corresponding work-order, and reviewed finished paperwork, and made correction where needed, I also worked closely with QA to secure my job was being handle correctly. My knowledge of 5S/6S safety protocol was a task I took on and put out high performance work to require the safety of our team by making sure that raw materials and storage areas were marked off with correct taping procedures and labeled correctly and any repairs or updating needed to be done was done in a timely manner. I was also part of the Idea committee, I put in lots of ideas for improvement of workflow to safety measure which were reviewed by the board and were passed for completion. I have a great knowledge of the importance of PPE in the work place and have never not been prepared in correct PPE attire for the job at hand, I also would keep an eye out for other employees not following the PPE protocol and remind them of the importance of it and have them correct the concerning issues. I was also a certified SME/ train the trainee, in this position I had trained many more operators to run the machines and to fill out corresponding work-orders for the job running on the machines, I taught them how to trouble shoot and fix issues with the machines and to constantly be checking the finished product coming off the line in order to keep quality work flow up to standards and when to get maintenance involved for faults they could not fix on their own. My last position I learned was part of the Logistics team running the SAP program, in this position I would scan all raw materials to the corresponding work-order and log it into the SAP system, I would do inventory count and have changes made by warehouse to any counts that were not correct in the system. With this program we had learned how to keep the cost of material in the warehouse down as SAP system kept a very good track of what warehouse had in storage and if we were running low we could put in a request slip so product could be ordered in a timely fashion.
I am a multi-tasker, neat and orderly, and a fast learner. Looking for work as a team-leader or other work that may involve being out on the production floor, or in another position where I can be challenged daily to learn new things and to accomplish new roles.
