At my first job I was extremely versatile around the store surrounding interactions with other coworkers, guests, the managerial staff and with different tasks around the building. I was one of the associates who was able to efficiently work in every section of the store. This is where I created and maintained effective communication skills with customers. coworkers and managerial staff that are very important to real life experiences. After working almost two years at TJ Maxx I decided to change jobs to have more availability to see my sister who works at the restaurant I transferred to. After working at Ruth's Chris Steak House for about 3 months I was offered the opening hostess position, a promotion from the previous position i applied for. Furthermore, having a job for almost three years has taught me the importance of money and how to spend and save appropriately. It's taught me time management skills with balancing school, work, extra curriculars and a social life. And, It's taught me immense communication skills and how to traverse life with a hardworking mindset.
