*Document materials received and keep up with materials still deliverable.

*Coordinate with Boring and Aerial teams.

*Call in dig tickets and locates.

*Use Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to verify locates and ensure other utilities might not be marked.

*Ensure bore paths are acceptable, located, GPR'd and all conflicting lines are potholed.

*Verify depths, correct material (conduit,vaults,bedding,etc.) and procedures are used.

*Document materials used and production daily.

*Update Field Maps/GIS for work completed,changes, or add-ons. Uploading pictures for verification.

*Interview and hire new staff.

*Direct contact for the base and Verita.

*Ensure safety by all teams.

*Operating heavy equipment. (Excavator, Skid-steer, and Tractor)

*Hauling equipment on and off job sites.

*Providing contractors and home owners with exceptional work and precision with following instructions.

*Communicating with builders and being a point of contact for materials.

*Point of contact between contractors and the University.

*Inspected all underground utilities for adherence to University standards.

*Locating underground facilities (Pipe Horn & RD3100)

*Used GPS instruments to map new and existing utilities, Locate utilities, and create blueprints (AutoCAD)

*Installing gas and water meters.

*Coordinate with other divisions of the University and sub-contractors for utility outages and emergency outages.

*Preform walk outs with subs verifying no discrepancies with blueprints and in field observations.

*Acquiring dig tickets.

*Ensure locates are called in and completed.

*Making sure crews apply all PPE and standards set by OSHA to make a safe work environment.

*Verifying all requirements set by Zayo were met: Depth, Bedding, Distance between other utilities, Etc.

*Preforming mark ups on work completed, changes, and add-ons.
