  • Oversee the operation and programing for the Center’s four departments; Aquatics, Athletic, Program, and 24-hour Childcare Center.
  • Supervisor of a 30-member full-time day, evening, overnight childcare staff and approximately fifty part-time staff including childcounselors, instructors, certified lifeguards, maintenance workers, and secretaries.
  • Directly responsible for public relations and community outreach with such groups as parents, community associations, and fellow agencies to support programming efforts.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and direct all events at two on site gymnasiums. Events currently take place during the day at night and weekends throughout the year. The gymnasiums are utilized upwards of 300 days a year.
  • Alongside the Executive Director I’m directly responsible for maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities including the gymnasiums, outdoor park and playgrounds, swimming pool, and childcare rooms.
  • Responsible for the logistics behind transporting 100+ students to and from 11 elementary/middle schools in the Wilkes-Barre Area, Hanover Area and Wyoming Valley West School Districts.
  • Developed, implemented and currently oversee a Drop-In Center in collaborative partnership with Luzerne County Mental Health and Developmental Services. This has an annual impact of $76k.
  • Developed, implemented and currently oversee a Planned/Emergency Respite Program in collaborative partnership with Luzerne County Mental Health and Developmental Services. This has an annual impact of $25k.
  • Tournament Director for Annual Holiday High School Basketball Tournament. Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity Divisions.
