Odell Drilling

Assort tools and core barrel and strick anvil while driller is setting up rig
Attend tooling needs of driller
Add augers to drill stem when required, and removal when hole is completed
add and retrieve sample barrel, also monitor strikes of autohammer for redundancy and compare strike number with drillers own count.
Clearing cutting buildup on augers and digging a trench when water is encountered in hole.

V Forge

Read and interpreted blueprints to make parts according to specifications.
Draw polishing of freshly machined forging dies, to ensure part is removable from die.
Ran La Blonde toolroom lathe for tool building and repair, and for modifying large "Bull" pins.
Repaired air powered collet chucking, by replacing worn draw-bar with chop made one.
Routinely cut stock on bandsaw for custom tooling.
Cut graphite on saw and machine in Robo-Drill cnc center for producing EDM electrodes.
Self taught to tram in vice with "tenths" indicator
Similarly, expert at tram in milling head.
Was trained to probe work using Haas VPS system. Also trained to probe tool x, y and Z offsets via the wrenshaw system.
Milled remedial tooling with Bridgeport machine equipped with accu-rite 2 D programmable movements. (semi CNC)

Assisted with cycling in and out forge dies on shelves using forklift.

Baski Water Instruments Inc.

Trained to build all types of inflatable packers that Baski designed. initially trained on simpler 2 thread system ( with 2 piece stainless element mandrels, and graduated to routinely build fracker elements on the more complicated 4 piece mandrels
Tracked rubber before and after autoclave curing numbers and cataloged results
Maintained tenable features of boiler and autoclave chamber, including associated tubing and steam trap considerations.
Routinely inspected critical features on either in house produced or ordered metal parts. After verifying acceptability, would proceed to clean and engrave serial numbers and shelve.
