I always have loved going to Texas and making a stop at Buc-ee's. Everytime I go in I am greeted with smiles, everyone looks like they love working there and happy to be there. Living in Hot Springs, working at Buc-ee's seems like it could never happen because all of them are so far away, until now. I would love an opportunity to join the team and I believe I bring a lot to the table and would be a great team lead or supervisor down the road when the opportunity reveals itself, but for now would love to take any position available. I have always been eager to learn and grow and could absolutely see myself making a career with this amazing company!
I have always supported our local law enforcement and an opportunity to join the team revealed itself. I started out working on patrol out on the street but around January I filled a position out at out detention center where I have worked ever since. My job duties consist of direct supervising about 60-70 inmates at a time, controlling the unit and ensuring safety.
My duties at UPS began with being a part time preloader which consisted of unloading trailers and loading the package cars. After about a year I was offered a part time supervisor position, I gladly took it and then only about 3 months later I was offered to take over the dispatch as well. I worked this position for about 3 years which consisted of strategically making a plan and using computer systems to plan out each driver's route for the day, I then would supervise the preload operation. The reason for leaving this job was because I was ready to start a full time career and there was very slim opportunities to become full time with UPS.
I began working for Smokin N' Style when I was in high school for gas money, before I realized it I had been there for 4 years. I really enjoyed working here, I primarily worked on the cook line, monitoring the smoker and grill as well while making plates for customers. I also when needed helped as a busboy cleaning the tables.
