- I worked in the field measuring height, merch height, DBH, and age.
- I took soil samples to understand soil characteristics. We pH-tested the soil, textured it, and used a color chart to analyze the soil's composition. We also examined the surrounding area to identify the type of soil we sampled.
- Used catch nets and shock fishing to sample fish, to gather data on species richness and abundance.
- I learned about deer biology and their dietary habits.
- I have extensive experience collecting data using tablets and tally sheets. We used that data to complete Excel workups and write reports, about which I have also learned a lot.
