Work History
Summer field program
Mississippi State Univeristy
Starkville, Mississippi
05.2025 - 08.2025
I worked in the field measuring height, merch height, DBH, and age.
I took soil samples to understand soil characteristics. We pH-tested the soil, textured it, and used a color chart to analyze the soil's composition. We also examined the surrounding area to identify the type of soil we sampled.
Used catch nets and shock fishing to sample fish, to gather data on species richness and abundance.
I learned about deer biology and their dietary habits.
I have extensive experience collecting data using tablets and tally sheets. We used that data to complete Excel workups and write reports, about which I have also learned a lot.
Skinner
Deer processor
Starkville, MS

Deboned deer, preparing steaks, jerky, roasts, and ground meat.
Calculated costs and entered tickets into the inventory system.
Studied deer habits and hunter activity patterns.
Engaged with diverse hunters to gather insights.
Worked late nights and occasionally outdoors to meet operational demands.
Dishwasher
Restaurant worker
Southaven, MS
01.2021 - 01.2023
Cleaned and stored dishes, stored food and other materials, and refilled or emptied necessary chemicals.
Worked as a team helping whoever was falling behind and maintaining a positive work environment.
Often worked the night shift from 4:30 pm until closed but also worked mornings and double shifts when necessary.
Quit to go to college and pursue a degree and set an example for my younger cousins and other extended family members.
Learned how to work as a collective, to work and help people regardless of their attitude, to quickly listen to and follow directions, and to set an example for others by doing the best that I can.
