- Supervisor for night shift operations.
- Key duties include overseeing investigations, authorizing leave and overtime, implementing discipline and team building.
- My main focus is providing the officers on my shift with the skills I have acquired through my years in the Patrol Division and Detective Division.
- My shift will not forward a case to the Detective Division unless we do not have the resources or proper timeframe to follow up on our own investigations.

- I received additional training in digital forensics and child interviews.
- Assigned cases primarily focused on fraud and burglaries with an emphasis on electronic mapping and social media histories.

- Supervisor for the busiest shift while assigned the youngest shift.
- Daily operations consist of bouncing from call to call and receiving phone calls from my team to assist in decision making and how to take the investigation to the next step.
- Every member of my team has completed search warrants and subpoenas for their cases and are always expected to take the case further than the initial report.

- Assigned to the Detective Division where I was assigned cases to investigate.
- These cases led to additional training opportunities in interviewing, dark web knowledge, internet protocol tracking and completing court orders which helped in completing assigned cases.
- While in the Detective Division, I would be called on to assist other Detectives when it came to social media, DVR recordings, video editing and autopsies.
- I also assisted several other agencies with the completion of court orders, cell phone downloads and Cellhawk tracking.
2nd Shift Corporal
05.2017 - 08.2017
- In May of 2017 I was promoted from patrolman to Corporal.
- On my first shift as officer in charge, we responded to a female that had been shot in the Walmart parking lot.
- By the end of the shift, the suspect was in custody and two officers received life saving awards for treating the victim.
- In July of 2017 I was promoted to Patrol Sergeant but chose to go to the Detective Division.

- Hired on 04/22/2013 and graduated the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in November of 2013.
- During FTO, I struggled with geography and being assertive on calls.
- At the academy, I received my only known negative mark on my record for overspending for food.
- From the time of me struggling on FTO until current, I have strived to always better myself and never make the same mistake twice.
- Struggling on FTO has also allowed me to connect with those that I see struggle and work on ways to improve the areas that need improvement.
