Growing up with a dad who is an A&P technician inspired me to work in the field of aerospace and to work on aircraft my entire life. I was always drawn to the aircraft he had a hand in building, such as Scaled Composites models SpaceShipOne, White Knight, Proteus, and Global Flyer. Growing up with this role model has taught me to be nothing but the best, strive and work hard for what you want to do; and that is what I will always do when it comes to working on aircraft. Even though I’m starting out in this field, I have a high drive to get things done and to get them done right. In my composite class, I am of the first few people to get the project ready to go and layed-up by the end of the night. I waste no time, and I make sure my work holds up to the standards we are held to. I also never want to stop the expansion of my knowledge. After my completion of the AFAB program, I plan on going back to school to go into the Metrology program, and later down the road perhaps getting my Airframe and Powerplant license. If you hire me, you are not hiring just a floor technician, you will be hiring a person who can and will be able to fill any position comfortably; even if it takes some serious work to handle the work I’m given.
