Summary
I have been with Empire for five and a half years and I have seen this company grow greatly as well as myself. I was with the Undercarriage shop for eight months before getting the opportunity to move to the weld shop. While I have been in the weld shop I have learned many procedures and policies including shop policies.
I was picked by my leadership to become fuel tank certified where I exceeded expectations in making these repairs. Since then I have trained one employee to become fuel tank certified as well and I have trained others in different areas of the job. This includes hydraulic rams/pumps, puller rods, lancing and welding/pre heating techniques as well as working safely and company and shop policies.
I have always enjoyed and been interested in a safety sensitive position. In all of my shops safety meetings I always come prepared with a safety and value share and encourage others to do the same.

- Worked in and with many other shops on making sure jobs are done right and safely. ( Example : Found composite stands supporting the rear of a frame where I would need to lance a pin out. I got with my lead and the shops lead and made a game plan on removing the stands to complete the job safely without damaging company property )
- During safety meeting I always bring a safety share and encourage others to do the same.
