Work History

Electronics Design and Analysis Engineer - Level 2

The Boeing Company - BGS
08.2023 - 11.2024

The following were performed for the specific UUT I was responsible for, with reporting to my technical lead engineer and guidance as needed

  • Analyzed test requirements for F-18 E/F avionics UUTs and designed custom circuits, cabling, and software responsible for interfacing with a Navy standard test station.
  • Collaborated with the ME team regularly during the design process to verify all test requirements were met, while focusing on cost-effective design and end user quality and ease of use.
  • Coordinated with sub-suppliers in technical meetings to develop necessary components for testing specific UUTs.
  • Reported engineering program numbers on design progression status to my technical lead weekly, in a timely manner.

Electronics Design and Analysis Engineer - Level 1

The Boeing Company - BGS
10.2020 - 08.2023

The position involved two separate simultaneous aircraft programs (F-18 and V-22). Responsibilities were unique by program. V-22 is the first two points only.

  • Performed all tasks for required final testing and government approval and verification on production assets for over 20 different unique test sets. (35-45% of all units produced)
  • Completed multiple multidisciplinary "on-site verifications (OSV)" for the final design release of two new UUTs at various Navy and Marine stations. Disciplines involved are defense engineering, civilian government engineering, and active service.
  • Analyzed and validated the quality of test requirements being developed for 7 end item Test Requirement Documents (TRD) under the guidance of lead engineer
  • Developed and maintained relationships with suppliers to facilitate quality and timely submittal of WIP updates and final deliverables.

Electronics Systems Analysis Engineer - Level 1

The Boeing Company - BGS
05.2018 - 10.2020

This position was in hydromechanical support equipment for the F-15 and F-18. I was primarily responsible for the circuit cards needed by the overall system. I was a major contributor in both spares and repairs orders, as well as some capital efforts.

  • Analyzed and tested at least 25 unique designs of mixed signal circuit cards using hands-on lab tools, both standard and custom, for the purpose of diagnostics, repair, or production asset verification.
  • Coordinated all necessary actions for a circuit card to be returned or shipped into the supply chain, including fabrication technicians, quality engineers, and shipping team.
  • Contributed to the integral part selection of a necessary circuit card upgrade, including in depth thermal and electrical testing in the prototype phase.
  • Trained and mentored senior level technicians to handle the common circuit card issues, allowing me to handle complex tasks.
  • Engaged with an array of customers, US and foreign, in monthly global teleconferences to assess fleet readiness and supply chain issues with our circuit cards and test stands.
