FINAL ASSEMBLY:

• Assemble and tested new DCL equipment and machinery for almost 2 years with minimal instruction.
• Introduced the use of a wood plug cutter for the purpose of punching holes in commonly used gasket materials such as 3M and High temp belting. resulting in an incalculable reduction in labor hours over the past 6 years in use.

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

• Managed customer relationships through repair parts order entry, Customer service and troubleshooting.
• Managed installation of new DCL equipment at customer locations nationwide.
• Inspect new equipment and machinery to ensure proper installation and operation.
• Trained and guided customers in regards to the safe operation and routine maintenance protocols outlined in DCL Inc. operation manuals.
• Supervise and advise on partial or full dismantling of equipment to quickly repair or replace defective components and restore functionality.
• I discovered through routine equipment pre-start inspections that DCL reducer gears were not being filled with oil according to their intended orientation as outlined in the manufacturers documentation. This discovery likely prevented the premature failure of hundreds of reducer gears.

PARTS ASSEMBLY:

• Prepare and assemble repair parts for new and existing DCL equipment.
• Test products or subassemblies for functionality or quality and troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products.
• Design manufacturing tools and solutions to maximize productivity, including but not limited to: Designing and building a thimble spreader, pneumatic cable cutter and cable harness jig resulting in countless reduced labor hours.
• DCL has seen a 2 million dollar increase in parts output in the 2 years I have been in the parts fulfillment position.

• Managed a fleet of 4 delivery trucks to coordinate deliveries for all appliance purchases made in the northern Michigan region.
• Organize the unloading and processing of all store inventory.
• Safely and effectively operate store machinery to include Forklift, narrow aisle forklift, stock lift, delivery trucks and truck mounted forklifts.
