  • Responsible for all medical logistics functions at the unit while forward deployed to Afghanistan.
  • Planned, coordinated, and implemented strategic plans for medical supply delivery to forward Marine fighting units in battles that include “Battle of Jugroon Fort”, “Battle of Garmsir”, and “Battle of Lashkar Gah”.
  • Marine Expeditionary Unit Helmand Province Flight Medic provided care to eight critically wounded Soldiers, Marines, and local nationals.
  • Coordinated and implemented with US Air Force and Marine Air Wing units to resupply forward units during combat operations.
  • Singlehandedly formulated, implemented, and provided oversight of a medical supply chain from the United States to Afghanistan where one was not previously established to support operations for the unit. Project resulted in countless lives saved in battle.
