I have a strong history of showcasing a servant leadership style of management and entrusted in overseeing departments and shifts to meet customer expectations and guidelines. During my time at Smurfit Westrock, I was apart of the management team that oversaw the production and profitability of a corrugated packaging facility. At the start of my time, I worked with the plant quality manager overseeing and implementing GMP, SQF, and quality policies across a 6 day, continuously running plant. I oversaw the rework department managing employees to process customer returns in a safe and timely manor. As well as managing the rework department, I had the responsibility of teaching new hire employees our plant quality and production procedures in a classroom setting. While in a quality role, I was apart of a rigorous annual SQF audit that verified the plants policies were being implemented and followed to meet strict NSF guidelines. After my time in quality, I moved to a production supervisor role. I managed a team of employees across three shifts to meet production guidelines ina safe and effective manor. I was tasked with overseeing a shifts across three different departments to meet production deadlines and keeping crews on task. Throughout my time at Smurfit Westrock, I was entrusted with a multitude of tasks and departments to meet customer expectations in a safe and timely manor.
At my time at Dickmann Manufacturing, I started out as a general laborer. Within the first few months, I quickly rose to bigger roles within the company. I moved throughout the plant working directly with department leads such as production, quality, and shipping. I participated in ISO annual audits verifying our plant adheres to industry standards of quality and production. I was in charge of developing a new department within the company and overseeing the operations that reduced operational costs and increased profitability.
During my internship, I worked directly with the owner of the franchise. I developed hands on experience managing employees, generating proposals for customers, and managing a budget. I participated in multiple networking events in the community building connections and leads to future business.
