- Follow safety regulations at all times while operating CNC machinery.
- Maintain records of production output and document any quality issues that arise.
- Load raw materials into machines, change cutting tools when required, and secure material onto fixtures or work tables.
- Clean machinery, lubricate parts, and perform other maintenance activities as needed.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, tapping, reaming, countersinking and milling.
- Organize work area to ensure efficient use of space and time.
- Train new operators on the safe use of CNC machines.
- Perform minor repairs on CNC machinery as needed.
- Set-up and operated lathes, mills and grinders to cut raw materials.
