- To do all dot inspections on trailers, make note of repairs that needed to be done, any electrical or airlines that needed replaced, do the mechanical repairs such as trailer skin or post replacement, brakes, swap tires out, flooring replacement, and door repairs, replace or fix electrical wires for lighting, replace airlines. Also dolley repairs such as re welding eyelets on brakes and airlines. Make not of repairs and have inspected by boss or lead of the day. Had to have my own tools and knowledge of using own tools. Had to trainable and willing to work outside of comfort zone. Work a highlift for roof repair and also learn to work with fiberglass.
