Read UDaily, UD events, and UD's website- know what's happening on campus.
Check T2 Flex Scheduler- look for tasks that failed. Reset them and rerun if necessary.
Check Department calendars- Front office and enforcement- know who's working and who is off.
Check direct reports calendars to know what's happening in the department.
Proof emails looking for hot topics- look for group emails ensuring that you have the most up to date information before responding to any of them.
Check T2 Flex letters to be printed (should be checked before 8am) look for anomalies.
Petty cash audit (there's a form to be used). Happens quarterly with annual form for General Accounting to be filled out.
Monthly UDeposit review of department deposits- independent reviewer after the 10th of the month.
Vehicle Fuelman reports to Facilities Coordinator after month close around the 10th for reconciliation.
T2 Flex reports sent to email- review them looking for issues (web permit sales, all permit sales, appeals, daily tickets, admin tasks, etc.)
Approve employee timesheets in UDWorkforce on the 15th and the end of the month.
Be on the look out for applicable training for myself and staff (ConnectingU, NPA. IPMI, VTC, MAPA, etc.)
Review the academic calendar weekly and anticipate upcoming events, programs, etc. that affect parking- breaks, move in/out, cans for cites, exam parking, convocations/commencement, etc.
Keep staff's time off for time sheets. I use my outlook calendar with the time off being an all day event as free time but marked private.
Monitor appeals and Board meetings. Preference to have all appeals adjudicated within 2 weeks of appeal date. Administrative review; as the Manager job; needs to be done timely to keep process flowing. I recommend pulling and reviewing them daily or every other day- they will stack up fast if you don't stay on top of them.
Monitor daily tickets- look for political issues or severe violations such as handicap, fire lane, fraud, etc.
Monitor maintenance logs- look for work orders that are old or delayed.
Quarterly gate audit- compare gate accesses to active permits taking into consideration the exceptions list. BlackBoard send a monthly list that is compared to permits list in query manager named gate audit.
Accelerated citations to account services- update tasks and letters in May.
Update web pages as needed.
Payroll deduct audits each time a file comes in for permit payments (4 times a month).

The manager assigns lot numbers for new lots.
Permit prices start with the manager. Have conversation wit the director about a ball park price increase and then develop several options using the spreadsheet.
In the spring, we accelerate student citations to account services. We add the notice at spring break and then change the query and task to make the change in May.
Supervise, coordinate, and direct activities of full and part time workers.

Installs or assists with traffic control and/or parking signs and parking lot striping.
Responds to complaints and/or customer service needs such as lockouts, jump starts, or tire inflation's.

I was a Supervisor in charge when the Sergeant was not working. I would have to Supervise 4 to 8 officers at a time.
