  • Sigma Chi Fraternity-

Being a part of the Sigma Chi Fraternity since the Fall of 2023, my freshman year of college, has allowed me to significantly improve my interpersonal abilities, while also providing me with opportunities to improve myself for my future. During the spring semester of 2025, I was privileged to have the opportunity to be the Magister, which is the main educator for incoming pledges and new members. I put a strong focus on developing relationships, as well as understanding the history and significance of the material we were discussing. I led a series of classrooms during the process and helped to guide 5 young men into our fraternity. I also put a strong focus on preventing any sort of potential hazing, as that simply has no place in fraternities. The existence of hazing creates an environment where these men could not thrive and develop into the men they wished to become, and it was my job to create such environment for them.

Following that, I was elected as the Vice-President for the 2025-2026 school year. In the time I have had in this role, I have used my interpersonal skills to ensure that the inner workings of the fraternity are being performed at the best of everyone's abilities, while stepping in and assisting when either asked or needed.

Certification

I received the Servant Leadership Certificate through the KRACH Transformational Leadership Workshop. This is an accredited leadership workshop provided and offered through the Sigma Chi Fraternity that takes place once a year in Bowling Green Ohio. My time at KRACH taught me many things, but none more important than how to lead for others. This workshop had us doing simulations of scenarios, in class discussions, and presentations to develop our understand of servant leadership.
