Seasoned law enforcement officer with 23 years of law enforcement experience including four years as a Lieutenant and over five years as a Chief of Police.
Knowledgeable with budgeting as well as overseeing and performing day-to-day operations.

-The Chief of Police is the highest ranking sworn officer in the department.
-The Chief of Police is responsible for overall administration of the department as well as budgeting and other clerical supervision.
-The Chief of Police is assisted by thirteen other patrol officers within the department and/or through specific appointment of responsibilities to specific officer(s).
-The Village of Walworth Police Department may, but is not deemed necessary, to have the following ranks and appointments below Chief of Police:
-1 Lieutenant
-1 Sergeant Detective
-8 Full-time Patrol Officer
-3 Part-time Patrol Officer
-The Lieutenant of Police is second in command of the Police Department under the Chief of Police.
-The Lieutenant assists the Chief of Police in managing day-to-day operations of the department and completes all administrative functions and duties that shall be assigned to him or her.
-The Lieutenant is responsible for overseeing functions of the patrol division, School Resource Officer position, and Sergeant Detective position.
-The Lieutenant assists in patrol responsibilities when needed.
-The position of Lieutenant is appointed at the discretion of the Chief of Police and is third-sixth in command.
-The Lieutenant assist the Chief of Police in managing the day-today operations of the department and completes all administrative functions and duties assigned to him or her.
-The Lieutenant is responsible for overseeing the functions of the patrol division, the School Resource Officer, and the Sergeant position.
-The Lieutenant will assist patrol in patrol functions when required.
-Patrol Officers are appointed by the Chief of Police.
-Patrol Officers responsibilities include, but are not limited to: responding to emergency calls for service, apprehending criminal offenders and ordinance violators, providing mutual aid and assistance to other agencies for emergent and non-emergent calls for service, and/or law enforcement-related activities.
-Other Patrol Officers responsibilities may include mental health assistance, school safety procedures, residential checks, business checks, and extra patrols.
