I'm an Advanced School trained infantryman with a background of Embassy Security while in the Marine Corps. I have operational experience in CENTCOM, EUCOM, and USINDOPACOM. When I was in the Embassy Security Guard Program, I worked directly with Department of State Special Agents while conducting security details for the Ambassador, as well as any VIPs who visited the embassy, to include the Secretary of State and the Secretary of the Navy. I was an essential part of the security of the compound and was responsible for the safety of embassy personnel, all classified material, and embassy property. I was responsible for training the marines and maintaining the operational readiness of each of my posts by helping create new standard operating procedures, camera maps for stationary posts to account for the response to various potential threats, and ensuring the marines knew and were proficient in their assigned duties while reacting to a potential threat. I am proficient in utilizing CCTV equipment and the employment of various kinds of cameras to ensure the security of the compound. While in the Infantry, I was trusted in a leadership position as Fire Team Leader then eventually Squad Leader. I have been on numerous training exercises and have training on multiple rocket systems, machine guns, and the Squad Automatic Rifle. I have completed multiple courses including the Advanced Infantry Course. I have training in Tactical Combat Casualty Care and have the Combat Life Saver Course qualification. I am proficient in CQB and urban tactics, as well as jungle operations. I have been trusted as a Range Security Officer during multiple live fire ranges, and helped coordinate with adjacent units, as well as foreign partner forces in order to execute live fire training exercises. Overall, I have 5 years of military experience and my career has taken me to Africa, Europe, and Southeast Asia. I am adaptable, professional, reliable, and have a strong work ethic.
