I started out as a volunteer firefighter in late 2004 with Wooster Twp Fire Department. Once I joined I was sent to EMT school and Volunteer fire school. after achieving those in 2006 I went to stark state to obtain my level II firefighter and paramedic. During this time I worked for a private ems company to gain experience and then went on to get a full time firefighter job in SC. After a year down there I moved back home and in 2013 I was hired full time for Wooster Twp. During this time to present I gained experience from many different people. This experience has led me to where I am today.
My daily job duties are ensuring that daily tasks are being completed, responding on emergency calls, maintenance of all equipment, and oversee and manage all ems activities for Wooster Township Fire Department.
My daily responsibilities where responding to emergency calls, training, and ensuring our truck was ready to respond to calls. We also had to complete daily station chores.
Our daily responsibilities where to transport patients from one hospital to another, provide 911 service in Orrville, and daily training.
