· Proactively contact drivers, clients, or other stakeholders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.

· Monitor and track delivery routes for timely and efficient deliveries.

· Regularly review and audit delivery processes and documentation to maintain accuracy and consistency.

· Serve as the primary contact for drivers, assisting them with any reschedules or providing timeframes for deliveries.

· Ensure that all “mcodes” associated with deliveries are scanned and recorded appropriately.

Report to Operations Manager /Assistant Terminal Manager and/or Terminal Manager

• Lead, guide and direct dock employees as needed to include setting targets, monitoring performance, providing coaching, counseling and development Accountable for the management of an efficient, clean and safe LTL operation to include dock planning and set up schedules

• Enforce understanding and compliance with all Company policies and procedures; safety rules and government regulations

• Involved in and makes recommendations in the hiring and termination processes

• Administer and carry out assigned portions of the Terminal Business plan as set forth by the Terminal Manager

• Responsible for meeting all KPI’s assigned

• Daily utilization of all Company enhancement tools and processes

• Review and revise schedules to increase efficiencies

• Responsible for equipment assignment and movement (trailers and tractors) in collaboration with other supervisors/management

• Responsible for proper communication to customers via phone, fax or email

• Oversee and responsible for all paperwork associated with the dock to ensure it is handled timely and correctly by employees

• Regular attendance is required.

• Operating low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment

• Loads, unloads, checks and tallies tires to and from carriers [trailer trucks]
• Stores tires in assigned warehouse locations
• Selects, packs, weighs, marks, palletized tires of customer orders and places in the assigned staging areas bin locator system
• Checks and verifies accuracy of selecting, packing, weighing, marking, and counting of tires for customer orders
• Operates reach truck, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment in the execution of duties
• Ensures safety guidelines are met in operating the equipment
• Performs required counting, tallying and marking on related inventory control documents
• Participates in cycle and/or annual physical inventories
• Ensures safety guidelines are met by the proper palletizing, repalletizing, and restacking of tires
• Performs other miscellaneous warehouse related and safety duties
• Maintain compliance with procedures and policies.

• Knows and follows all applicable safety rules and procedures
• Accurately distributes and places all specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket
• Examines and records all material transported to and/or from the delivery site(s)
• Verifies and Records the quantity and type of building material handled
• Responsible for having the delivered product neatly placed and appearing as orderly and presentable as possible
• All debris created by the delivery process must be cleaned up and properly disposed of before leaving the job.
