Ryan Oettel

San Diego,CA

Summary

My name is Ryan Oettel, though most people know me as "Otter." I proudly serve as an active duty United States Marine Corps Sergeant and have a deep passion for all things two wheeled. Currently, my focus is on BMX, a passion I became immersed in about a year ago. I originally entered the world of action sports through scootering, which paved the way for my transition into BMX. From my very first crank, I was completely hooked. The skills I developed through scootering greatly impacted my progression on the bike. For sneak peek into my journey and progression on the bike, feel free to check out my Instagram @ryanotterr. Moving forward, my goals include participating in local competitions, consistently improving my skills on the bike, and expanding my presence on social media in order to connect with more like minded individuals. I am currently sponsored by SD Wheel Works, Kali Protectives, and Send It Death Before Dishonor. As I continue to grow within the bike community, I’m looking to expand my network and establish relationships with brands that support my values and passion for the sport.
