Current NCAA division 2 athlete and current small business owner, looking for a high quality internship over the summer in the business field. I currently am getting my degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. I have proven the ability to network, sell products, and get results in the classroom, with my business, and on the court while constantly having a busy schedule. I have been put in high pressure situations, and have been able to thrive in such environments.
I currently play basketball at the NCAA division 2 level. I transferred here this year for more opportunities both on and off the court.
I currently run my own landscaping business called Paris quality cuts. I started my sophomore year of high school where I just mowed a few neighbors lawns. I then started going door to door and getting a ton of jobs such as mulching, spring cleanups, mowing, and other jobs that people needed help with. I began to purchase adds, promote via social media, and I now mow over 25 lawns a week. I was responsible for scheduling, billing and customer service. As well as managing and coordinating multiple work crews consisting of 5 or more employees
My freshman year of College I competed in both collegiate basketball and golf at Indiana University South Bend. The division was NAIA, and I made it to the conference championship in both sports.
I helped out at an elementary school and taught a group of elementary students the basics of economics. I was in an honors Microeconomics class and spent a week learning how to teach the class that I taught. I did this through a company called Junior Achievement which is all over the country.
I helped volunteer at Families For A Cure every christmas for a family friend who ran the nonprofit. It was a toy drive, so I would bring a gift. I organized everyone's gifts and donations while working the event 4 years straight.
I helped clean up houses that were being worked on. I helped to lay sod. I also helped assist in others driving construction equipment.
