Teaching Responsibilities:

• Assess, track, and support student learning through a variety of instructional strategies and interventions.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment.

Head Teacher Responsibilities:

• Lead weekly meetings with the 8th grade teaching team to review academic progress, behavior, and upcoming events.
• Coordinate and oversee major 8th grade events, including:
  Field Trips, Step- Up Ceremony, 8th Grade Dance, & Farewell BBQ and Fundraising Events.
• Serve as the primary liaison between school administration and the 8th grade team.
