Due to the almost 20 years I've spent as a Dental Hygienist, I've had plenty of time and occasion to cultivate skills that would be useful in any job opportunity. I'm a dependable employee seeking the chance to expand my skillset and contribute to the success of this position. I am compassionate, detail-oriented, able to identify handle diverse issues with maturity, have strength in customer service, excellent with verbal and written communication, careful about following protocols, and willing to learn. While obtaining my Music Therapy Degree, I spent many semesters working in long term care facilities for my practicum hours. I learned a lot about the inner workings of those facilities, and I am committed to the health and well-being of all long-term care residents.
In addition to my career as a Dental Hygienist, I have also worn many other hats. In my youth, I worked as a summer camp counselor for both Camp ReCreation (a camp for all ages of people with developmental disabilitities) and the Salvation Army (a summer care program for low income children). In college, I worked full time at the book store, and then the library. I've been a parks and rec employee for the city of Breckenridge, MN and I also spent time as a nanny.
