- As a maintenance worker for the Geneva School District, I was one of the workers responsible for upkeep of district property
- I was on what was referred to as 'roving crew.' This meant I was responsible, along with a group of other workers, for going to the various school properties and tending to whatever needed to be done
- I was expected to drive district vehicles
- This includes district pick-ups, box trucks, and Kubotas
- I also became familiar with operating zero-point mowers and weed-eaters, as well as various other landscaping tools.
