I got into this trade around 10 years ago. I’d say 90% of that time has been on Columbus Distribution. Outside of that I spent close to a year on Transmission and also spent a couple months working in Detroit on a Delta system. Working distribution I’ve spent most of my time doing reconduct work and truly enjoy the bigger projects that you get to see a big difference. Working at Thayer the past 2 years I feel like I’ve taken on a good amount of responsibility running a lot of the Tankers, doing reconduct, working side projects, and training some of the people who have taken on foreman roles. I feel like I have the character and drive that would sit well in a general foreman position.
