Key Responsibilities:

BAS System Operation & Programming

  • Operate and maintain BAS platforms including Insight, Desigo, Enteliweb, and Orcaview.
  • Perform PPCL programming (Insight), and GCL programming (Delta) across multiple BAS environments.
  • Manage and support system scheduling, alarming, and remote notification operations.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize BAS graphics, logic, and control strategies.


Server, Database & System Administration

  • Conduct BAS server maintenance, including backup/restore operations, updates, and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain BAS databases, user accounts, access levels, and system documentation.
  • Ensure system reliability through routine checks and proactive monitoring.


Maintenance & Technical Support

  • Perform hardware maintenance of BAS components (controllers, sensors, network devices, etc.).
  • Support other university departments with troubleshooting and repairs related to automation systems.
  • Assist branch campuses with automation, scheduling, and BAS-related issues.
  • Provide technical expertise during project meetings and planning sessions.


Operational & Energy Management

  • Oversee day-to-day BAS operations, ensuring building systems operate efficiently and within established standards.
  • Implement and support LEAN initiatives to maximize efficiency and reduce operational waste.
  • Support energy management goals through system optimization, monitoring, and reporting.
