Motivated student currently assisting research at the Nanoscale Research Facility. Experience in liquid crystal polymer applications for prosthetics. Soon-to-be co-author of significant engineering research, enhancing neural device fabrication through innovative techniques and collaboration. Skilled in protocol design and C++ programming, adept at leading presentations and driving advancements in lab safety and experiment development.
At the lab I assist with the bonding and pressing of Liquid Crystal Polymer sheets and their applications in prosthetic and neural devices. I assist my assigned graduate student and am soon to receive a co-authorship for my efforts. I develop new techniques and establish guidelines for the handling and application of the materials in devices. I also prepare samples for Scanning Electron Microscopes. I collaborate daily with other scientists and students to jointly develop more advanced neural prosthetic fabrication and implementation techniques.
