  • When I started working at Metro Auto Auction, I was the Operations Supervisor and my job duties were to make sure that all units were checked in and numbered for the sale, all condition reports done accurately and all damaged notated.

  • We would make sure that all units went through detail/wash and vac and we would do a QC check on the units and then take them to their spot on line.

  • Manheim DFW lost the GSA contract and I was able to get GSA to come to Metro Auto Auction, which was huge due to the fact that Metro had only been open a few years.
  • I had a crew of 5 guys under me and we took in new GSA inventory which we would input into our system, and set the units back in our holding area.
  • We would clean the units out and get them ready for their new government employee owner.
  • We would also inventory their trade-ins and get those ready for the GSA sale, which we held monthly.
  • I also had to work with the Dallas Morning News to make sure that we had an article listing all units available for sale.
  • Upon the completion of the sale, I would work the financials with the business office and make sure that all numbers and sale checks matched up.
  • Then we would submit the financials to the GSA rep to settle the sale.
